Commissioning A Custom Painting
I'd love to turn your vision into a beautiful painting just for you. Commissioning a painting from me is how we can collaborate to create a personal, unique original piece of art that connects your memory, vision, dream, with my style and process. This painting, created just for you, will bring joy and beauty into your space and be a conversation starter for family and friends.
Every painting I make is created with love, joy and spiritual guidance. When I paint, I intentionally turn off the “noise” of the world and move into a peaceful, happy state of mind. Your painting will carry that love and joy within it.
Getting started is easy. We'll begin when you send me an email and some photos. Tell me what the photos mean to you, where they were taken, and what you love about them. These photos can be examples of colors you love, places you want to go or have been, a picture you took yourself from a vacation, or special scene, or memory. We'll work together to transform your vision onto the canvas.
Or, if you love one of my previous paintings and want something similar, we can create one in that style just for you. It will not be an exact copy, but will be created afresh, with your preferences and my style, making it unique to our collaboration.
I'll send you a form to complete, that describes the process in more detail. When we've agreed to work together, a 50% deposit is required. Depending on my availability, the size and scope of the painting, my commissioned works generally take 6-8 weeks to complete. I will send you progress photos along the way. Shipping is not included in the price and will be added when the painting is complete. Once final payment has been received, I will securely package and ship your painting to you and supply tracking information. If you are local to the Durham, Raleigh North Carolina area, we will work out a delivery time and I can bring the painting to you.
