My art journey began in childhood. I've always been artistic, curious and in love with nature. Growing up in a military family, our lifestyle involved uprooting and moving every 2 or 3 years. This gave me an ability to see beauty and joy wherever I happened to land. My work hopefully reflects the simple beauty and grace in God’s creation. Using vibrant colors, thick and thin paints, inks, natural materials, found objects and imagination, my intention for my art is to bring light; to invoke feelings of peace, joy or delight to those who experience my work.
